I’m still clearing out a back log of old material, but I’m slowly getting caught up!
THE GOOD
MARINES TO THE RESCUE: “Woman Stuck on Flooded Highway Floored as Cadre of Marines in Dress Blues Begin Wading Toward Her.” Be sure to watch the video embedded in the article.
THE 1776 UNITES AMERICAN HISTORY CURRICULUM IS MORE THAN GOOD, IT’S EXCELLENT: “1776 Unites Curriculum Highlights the American Character.”
QUESTION AUTHORITY. That used to be a thing, ya know, back in the ‘60s and ‘70s, until those who mouthed the slogan got power, and now . . . : “Rand Paul deserves credit for questioning authority.”
THE SPIRIT OF AUSTRALIAN LIBERTY LIVES: “Police showed up at this Aussie’s door to question him about Facebook posts which showed him at an "illegal" protest and his response is exactly what yours should be if this ever happens to you.”

THE BAD
THE DESTRUCTION OF THE AUSTRALIAN SPIRIT OF LIBERTY. To cross reference, you might want to check John Locke’s Second Treatise of Government, chapter. 18:
THE BIDEN-MILLEY CLOWN SHOW CONTINUES BUT WITH TRAGIC CONSEQUENCES: “Biden’s Drone War in Afghanistan Seems to Be Killing More Civilians Than Terrorists.”
RACISM ALERT—Opera Edition: “Woke English Opera Fires 14 White Musicians for Having Wrong Skin Color.”
DECLINE AND FALL OF MEDICAL SCHOOLS. Remind me to never have surgery performed by a doctor from the University of Louisville School of Medicine: “Medical School Hosts Seminar on 'Body Terrorism' Against 'Fat LGBTQ+ People'.”
AMERICA’S RULING CLASS DOING WHAT IT DOES BEST: “Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot says she is going to curb violence by SUING the city's violent gangs ... Let's wish her the best of luck with that! 🤣.”
AMERICA’S RULING CLASS DOING WHAT IT DOES BEST: “Maskless San Francisco mayor breaks health order, seen partying with BLM co-founder at nightclub.”
AMERICA HAS THE BEST RULING CLASS. The insufferable . . . “CNN Clown Don Lemon Shames Unvaxxed People (i.e. Majority of Blacks in NYC).”
THE THINGS THAT DON’T AFFECT THE RULING CLASS: “Americans See Worst Buying Conditions in Decades on High Prices.”
NOT SO SMART: “Celtics' Marcus Smart references John Adams in advice to fan: 'No one remembers the 2nd US President'.”
Boston Celtics star Marcus Smart raised eyebrows Friday night when he made an odd comment referencing the second president of the United States, John Adams.
Smart was asked by a fan on Twitter for advice about getting better at basketball since he is considered to be one of the better defenders in the NBA. The two-time All-Defensive Team selection tried to send a motivational tweet, but it appeared to backfire.
Time to go back to school Marcus:
PROGRESSIVE PARENTING IN THE AGE OF CORONAVIRUS: “Parenting a child under 12 in the age of delta: ‘It’s like a fire alarm every day’. Routine outings become tricky decisions for the youngest Americans, who are still ineligible for coronavirus vaccines.” I do not want to live in this society. Surely this is a form of bad parenting if not child abuse. Just look at these photos closely. None of the children in either photograph are wearing knee pads, only one child is wearing a mask in the house, and two of the three children are not wearing their crash helmets in the house. What kind of parent allows this to happen? There should be a law mandating that children wear helmuts at all times. What kind of parent doesn’t protect their children?
WELL, THIS IS A SMALL NUCLEAR DEVICE. Is this actually possible? “Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy…on a societal scale?: What if leading healthcare “experts” are psychologically motivated to generate widespread suffering?”
THE UGLY
STAY CLASSY, JOY: “MSNBC's Joy Reid dismisses focus on Gabby Petito case as 'missing White woman syndrome'.”
DIVERSITY IS OUR STRENGTH: “Muslim ER doctor charged with female genital mutilation of nine girls aged just seven 'was part of secret network which traveled across US to perform agonizing procedure,' Detroit court hears.”
. . . and THE BEAUTIFUL
When I saw Briton Rivière’s 1888 painting “Requiescat” for the first time, I had a very strong, immediate, almost convulsive emotional reaction to it.

Have a great week!
I often share you "TRI" with friends and family. I recently shared your "move -in-day " article with my daughter ,she found it insulting and demeaning to her families hard work and success. My grandson is a Sophomore at Clemson. I found " MID" heart warming and prophetic maybe because at seventeen I was in group two. The Navy was a life changer for me.
