K-12 EDITION
IT’S POTEMKIN VILLAGES ALL THE WAY DOWN!!! Or we can call it the greatest grift in American history. “The problem with public schools: Taxpayer monies continue to increase, but not our children's quality of education.”
No business would consider a sharp spending increase and employee hiring spree while customer numbers plummet. But that’s exactly what the federal government did with education. From March 2020 to March 2021, upwards of $201.2 billion were poured into K-12 public schools despite the number of students declining by one and a half million. The three percent enrollment drop, the largest in decades, resulted from parents’ pulling students from schools that refused to provide on-campus education.
JUST SAY “NO” TO CULTURAL SUICIDE: “As Equity Replaces Merit at Elite Test-In Schools, Different Students Are Left Behind.” “In short, schools across the U.S. are abolishing traditional, merit-based admissions criteria in favor of a subjective selection process. But does this pursuit of educational justice produce a fairer outcome?” No. It just produces mediocrity. And what does this have to do with justice?
PUNCHING BACK TWICE AS HARD: “Heritage Action launches program to help parents fight Critical Race Theory.” The problem, however, is that no matter how hard you punch, the problem is not going away. It’s baked into the system. Still, it’s good that people are resisting, e.g., “Coloradan Explains How She Helped Ban CRT In Her Local Schools,” but remember that resistance is futile in the long run. The best way to protect your children is to #JustWalkAway.
America. You have a choice.

NO! Next question. “The miseducation movement is gaining momentum. Can parents stop it?” From the essay: “For me, the big question is: Will parents regain control over the nation’s public schools, which their tax dollars fund in the first place? Or will radical left-wing social activists, teacher unions, and education bureaucrats (what I like to call the education industrial complex), triumph in the end?” The question answers itself. There is, of course, a third choice: #JustWalkAway.
WELCOME TO AMERICA’S GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS. Remember the teachers claim to be your child’s “second parents.” Going out on a limb here in suggesting that they will soon declare that they are YOUR child’s real parents. Is this ok with you?

WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON AT JAMES MADISON UNIVERSITY? Alums should pull their gifts from JMU toot sweet, which is a fancy way of saying “now.” “University Says Overweight People Are 'Oppressed,' Victims of White Supremacy.”
A university in Virginia taught employees during a recent training exercise that white people, men and Christians are guilty of oppressing minority and overweight people as part of a recent study that adapted the hateful ideologies of critical race theory. . . . James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, took the expected “white people are horrible and America is terrible” message and injected it with steroids.
AMERICA’S “INTELLIGENTSIA” IS A JOKE: “Stanford prof says 'Whiteness' explains parents' opposition to school mask mandates.”
ONLY AT HARVARD YOU SAY? Well, no. Presumably we’ll see this at all the other Ivy League schools in due course. “The New Chief Chaplain at Harvard? An Atheist.”
WHO SAID IT COULDN’T HAPPEN HERE? “Heckler's Veto at SUNY Binghamton May Have Violated First Amendment: The university shut down a speech by noted economist Arthur Laffer because of organized heckling by ‘progressives.’”

WHY RESIST? The Left wants to make university education open and free to all. Resistance is futile. We’re about to enter the second phase of the plan. “Student Loan Forgiveness Suddenly Not A Priority As Congress Excludes Student Loan Cancellation From Latest Budget Deal.”
