Many parents feel they cannot homeschool their own children, either because they must work or because they don't feel up to the task. With the flight from public schools underway, is there a growing opportunity for private homeschool tutors? I would think a good teacher could handle several families simultaneously, making the program more cost-effective.

Hi Jim, yes there is an opportunity for homeschool tutors and the whole homeschool is very different from what it was 20 years ago. Many more opportunities.

BTW I meant to complement you.... your sources are stunning

Food for thought/recommendation: put your series of articles regarding education into some sort of pamphlet and sell it, maybe ARI would be interested? I would buy copies

I'm planning to do something like, maybe a book?

Well, if the subject bears that size, but your articles alone are a good start for a "forthcoming" book. I think the "need" and "requirement" is so great now that a pamphlet would be the proper start.

Interesting idea. Let me think about it.

Various RealClear sites (public policy and the civics portal) have been publishing my education essays. Oddly, less so with RealClearEducation.

That is interesting...maybe combine the civics side with the education side to get good politics?

Any chance that you could write an article on the state of at-home schooling and private education, as well as how to enter this field?

Yes, that may be coming down the road.
